Final Post

Hi everyone

This is my last post on this blog. It started as a project for my class and now this class ends so as this blog. At first, I was a little anxious about writing on a blog but then I started to like it. This class thought me how to integrate technology into English Language Teaching classes. We did a podcast, digital storytelling, etc. All these activities showed me that technology plays an important role while teaching English and we should benefit from them. Especially for the next generation, it is much more important because they will be born into technology, and we should show them how to use technology to our benefit. They will learn that technology is not only for their entertainment but also for their education. If I need to talk about my course, it was such a complicated experience for me. I said complicated because the beginning of the tasks were difficult for me I couldn’t exactly understand how I am going to do this task but when I figured out how to use tools I really enjoyed what I am doing. One of my favorite task was writing a film review on a wiki page because the film review part was fun and easy to make then writing that on a wiki was nice too because the wiki was simple to use. However, the podcast task was the worst one for me because I couldn’t find a silent place and it was difficult for me to record the voice. Overall, I enjoyed participating in the course; it was a great experience for me.
