Digital story

Hi everyone

This post is about a digital story. In this task, we are asked to create a digital story. I and my group members achieved this by using Pixton. Pixton was a little complicated but when we understood it, it was fine. First, we started to outline the story. After that we created pictures via Pixton  actually animation could be the right term. Then we complete the dialogue and storyline part. After all that we recorded our voices, and we made a video with pictures. This task was fun but also difficult to make because it requires too much different types of things such as writing, voiceover, making animations, and putting them together. It was a very demanding and multi-layered assignment. However, it was a peer task, so it was helpful. My peers were Kübra and Sude. They were very helpful and kind people and we helped each other to finish to project and we worked equally. You can go Sude and Kübra's blogs by clicking on their name. When I become a teacher, I give such homework to my students because it gives you space to be creative. In addition, since it is multi-layered, it allows students to write scripts, design animations, make videos, record their voices, and use English while doing all these. We chose to prepare a story for children because we saw that it was more fun to do and also the tool we used, Pixton, was suitable for this. In summary, although it was a bit complicated to do this homework, doing it with my friends made the job easier and fun.
