21st century learning
What is 21st century learning? How can we use it in language classes?
Hi everyone
Welcome to my blog today I will talk about 21st century learning.
What is it?
Developing learning, literacy, and life skills as a component of the academic experience is referred to as twenty-first century learning.

Learning skills include 4 C :
Critical Thinking : This skill enable students to analyze the problems and solve them. It makes it easier for them to be independent as they solve a case on their own.
Creativity: this enables them to produce innovations
Collaboration: Although sometimes challenging for students, it is important as they learn how to work as part of a team.
Communication: If there is no communication, other skills will not be effective. It is a skill that will always be useful in group assignments or in their carrier.
Literacy Skills

Information: distinguish between true and false information and understand statistics.
Media: They have so many options to get information, they can choose the media they want to use.
Technology: Of course, it is one of the most important skills. While living in the age of technology and everyone is exposed to it, students should be able to integrate this technology into their education life.
Life Skills

Flexibility: adaptability to change plans
Leadership: to lead and encourage others
Initiative: be self-directed learners
Productivity: using creativity effectively
Social skills: to be in contact with others, to benefit from this communication.
As an English teacher candidate, I think it is necessary to adapt these skills to English classes. We can do this by making use of technology, for example, we can have our students watch short videos, ask them to participate in an online quiz competition, and show photos about the culture of the language they are learning.
